After spending 24 hours criss crossing districts 24, 25, 26 and 27 it is very clear that west prince, rural communities in general and our francophone communities feel disconnected to this current government.
This trip had so many stops I had almost no time for pictures. From Mill River to Campbellton, O’Leary, Alberton, Tignish, Alma, Elmsdale, Bloomfield to Wellington. Thank you to everyone who engaged and shared your thoughts, ideas, support, and enthusiasm with me.
I’m thrilled at the caliber of candidates I’m meeting with in West Prince who are eager to seek the nomination and join this team. West Prince will have strong representation in my government. And we are organized and ready to lead this party to victory in the upcoming election.
The most memorable parts of the last 24 hours for me have been forming real connections with islanders and demonstrating through action and not words that the PC team is ready, organized, unified and focussed on returning the power to the people of Prince Edward Island after this out of touch liberal reign.
This is not Wade’s Island. It’s our Island. And I’m ready to return it to all citizens of this great province.
